Collectives and Communities of the 21st Century
The project involved conducting research on musical movements in and around Barcelona, Spain. In this vibrant city, there exist various groups and communities composed of people who share similar tastes and interests.
For my research, I had the privilege of interviewing two communities residing in Barcelona:
Funky Shirls Records: A community that embodies the principle of uniting and entertaining people through the positive vibes they passionately generate in their music and events.
Breathe Deep Barcelona: Another community that shares the same ethos, aiming to create a sense of unity and joy through their musical endeavors.
Both communities contribute to the rich cultural tapestry of Barcelona, fostering connections and celebrating the power of music."
